Mick Strider : SMF CC Shark Fin Dagger

I have always been wondering what the difference would be like between a "regular" Strider and a Mick Strider Custom.

Well, I have found the answer, this is a whole new level for me.

By that I do not mean "better", but boy, is this knife sweet as Hell. I just can not find a single thing that is not perfect.

The smoothness, the details, the hollow grind, the orange peel, two tone finish, sharpness, new lock face, you name it, it's perfect all the way.

The Orange Peel effect on the annodised Titanium feels smooth bot also provides grip.

Dead centered and needle sharp tip.

The signature of the Maker himself.

The new type, flat blade ramp.

Nice and non-sticky early lock up.

SMF MCSOCOM DET 1 #C0037

To me (and I am not on my own) "The" SMF of all SMF's, is a DET 1. 

A true Icon in knife history to me, and next June this knife will have her 10th birthday.

Many, maybe even a few thousands (?) SMF's have been made over the years.

There can two one C0037, one of the very first SMF's ever, how cool.

It's sharp, it's flawless, dead centered after a minor adjustment, strongest detent I even had on a SMF.

The LBS was most certainly not needed on this beauty, stiff and solid like a rock.
