Mikkel Willumsen : New Alamo

This knife is a big one, a large handle with very wide blade made by Mikkel Willumsen.

Besides the smooth flipper action with IKBS, the fit and finish are excellent.

Dark stone washed bolster and blade with a recurved hollow grind.

Groovy and grippy Blue/Black G10 and a design swedge on the back of the blade.

Large thumb opener in case you don't want to flip the blade.

Thick handle with also thick stonewashed/satin liners.

Large stop pin and G10 back spacer.

Inlayed small stone washed pocket clip.

Very early solid and non sticky lock up.

The Willumsen Urban Tactical logo on the back of the blade.

Huge and massive, although the grind is rather thin and works like a slicer.

SMF : Digi Camo Old & New

After some outdoor photo's I made an inside all white comparison shoot to show the differences as good as posible.

Recently I came across an old style digi camo SMF and I could not resist to catch this near mint knife.
Some searching on the USN on this type of SMF Digi Camo took me back to 2005 when these seem to be made.
If I am wrong on the year, please correct me and post update info.

Since I also own a new type digi camp finish SMF, I thought it would be nice to show the differences, and made some pics.
The Desert Tan with darker blade is the old style wile the Coyote Brown the current style for those who are new at this.
It also has a nice old Ti flaming, original Hinderer LBS disk and BOS heat treat stamp.

The old style coating has less laser added parts, and it shows more black oxide.
